I don’t understand
I don’t understand,
How it’s so easy to love
Yet there is so much hate.
Why there isn’t always a happy ending.

But most of all
Why I don’t know my dad
Why there is war
Why there is sadness

What I don’t understand the most is
Why is life so short
Why do your dreams seem so unreal
Why can’t everyday have a fairytale ending?

How do you know.
How do you know when you trust someone too much.
Is it when they tell your deepest secrets.
Or when they stab you in the back,
Which is actually your heart.
Or is it the day they reveal the lines on your wrist.
Which you’ve hid for years.

I can’t trust you anymore.
I can’t turn to you in my time of need.
You made me forget until now.

My nightmares have come to life.
I was so full and now I’m so empty.
How can you let someone into you life,
Make them the center of everyday
Then before you know it there gone.
Gone, before you even said bye.

I am
Free, Unique, Loving.
I care about my friends and family.
Faithfulness is important to me.
Make me laugh, I’ll love you forever.
Caring for others is at the top of my list.
Being obnoxious is bad, but can
Be good for meeting new people.
People are too judgmental too often.
Life is too short.
